Oklahoma City continues to be in a must win scenario entering Thursday night’s meeting with the Jazz.
The Thunder are clinging to a play-in game position after dropping three straight games. The Mavericks won their game on Wednesday night against the Kings to keep them in contention to knock the Thunder out.
The Jazz are a game and a half out of the play-in and on the verge of being eliminated from contention. OKC can get one step closer to clinching the spot with a win in Utah on Thursday.
The Thunder though will have to do so without Aleksej Pokusevski who is back on the injury report with a knee contusion. Lu Dort is also in jeopardy of being a scent with shoulder ailment.
The Jazz aren’t any luckier though as they are without their top weapons. Both Collin Sexton and Lauri Markkanen are listed as out for the contest with injuries.
OKC will once again rely heavily on Shai Gilgeous-Alexander as they have all season while also needing Jalen Williams and Josh Giddey to play well on both ends of the court.
Here are the most recent injury reports for both squads entering tonight:
Oklahoma City Thunder:
Chet Holmgren: Out: Right foot surgery
Kenrich Williams: Out: Left Wrist Scapholunate Rupture
Aleksej Pokusevski: Out: Left Knee Contusion
Lu Dort: Questionable: Right Shoulder Strain
